We are a regulated awarding organisation based in Norwich with a rapidly increasing international profile, working with 200 recognised centres in over 35 countries to complement our strong brand presence in the UK.
We offer a diverse portfolio of vocationally orientated and internationally recognised qualifications, many of which are eligible for UK funding. Our qualifications are also approved as progression pathways to relevant Bachelor’s and Master’s Top Up degrees by a growing number of UK and international Universities, providing significant tertiary education opportunities for our learners.
About the Role
The overall purpose of this role is to deliver profitable growth for ATHE. This includes increasing the number of ATHE recognised centres in the UK and internationally; increasing the number of learners registered with ATHE by existing and new centres; and facilitating the addition of new university progression partners for ATHE qualifications.
The role also leads on Marketing and Communications activity in support of ATHE’s business development goals. This includes promoting products and services to existing and new target markets; ensuring ATHE’s web and social media strategies are appropriately defined and delivered; and ensuring ATHE’s customer communication channels are effective and value-adding.
This is a hands-on role with a significant degree of customer-facing contact, balanced with regular engagement with office-based colleagues to ensure business development and marketing activities are aligned and co-ordinated. The role works with a team of Business Development Associates (BDAs) in the UK and internationally, supporting ATHE’s growth across identified sectors and target markets.
You will demonstrate sound business development and marketing skills with experience of successfully applying these in appropriate educational contexts. You will be both a self-starter in personally driving profitable growth and a team player in co-ordinating business development and marketing activity with colleagues in the UK and internationally. Collaborative by nature, you will have strong networking skills to identify and exploit new partnership opportunities.
